I’m a multimedia journalist based in New York City. In May, I earned my M.S. from Columbia’s Journalism School and now am freelancing around the city.
During my undergrad years at Columbia, I studied environmental engineering for two years. Many math problems and lab reports later, I felt more like a robot than a thinker, and so I transferred into the college.
Also while in undergrad, I worked for several non-profits, such as America Reads and the American Legacy Foundation.
In 2012, I graduated with a degree in socio-cultural anthropology, wrote a senior thesis about fingernail decoration, and was all the better for having a background in both hard and soft science.
